Message from the CEO

A new era in export financing

With our robust institutional infrastructure, advanced digital capabilities, and strong capital base, as Türk Ticaret Bankası, we have ushered in a new era in export financing.

Dear Stakeholders,

Although 2025 was marked by global uncertainties and trade tensions, it was also a year in which the Turkish economy achieved significant progress on its path toward rebalancing and stability. Greater predictability and the declining trend in inflation stood out as key factors underpinning the banking sector’s capacity to support the real sector. As Türk Ticaret Bankası, we leveraged this favorable environment in 2025, moving beyond our establishment phase into a period of strong growth and institutional deepening.

Rising into the future with strength drawn from our roots

In addition to achieving quantitative targets in 2025, our Bank reinforced its operational excellence and solidified its institutional structure. In line with our vision of becoming the primary bank for exporters, we focused our physical expansion strategy on trade hubs that account for more than 85% of Türkiye’s exports. Accordingly, we opened 11 new branches in regions with high exporter concentration, notably enhancing our ability to deliver fast and on-site solutions.

Through the Export Academy and sector meetings, we established a continuous and high-quality engagement platform with our customers. Through this approach—enhancing efficiency in daily banking operations while prioritizing long-term partnerships—we have positioned ourselves not merely as a provider of financing, but as a trusted business partner in the field.

Combining our physical strength with the speed of digital banking

The year 2025 marked a turning point in which we combined our physical presence with the speed and flexibility of digital banking. With the launch of our Digital Banking Platform in February, we eliminated the boundaries of branches. Through the internet and mobile banking channels introduced for our retail and corporate customers, along with our remote onboarding capabilities and FAST/KOLAS integrations, we delivered a “phygital” banking experience that seamlessly integrates digital and physical channels.

Sustaining our support for exports with strong financial performance

Our effective balance sheet management, combined with a comprehensive service model encompassing both funded and non-funded products, fueled strong momentum in our financial performance in 2025. We increased our total assets sixfold year-on-year, reaching TL 47 billion. The primary driver of this growth was the financing support we provided to the real sector, particularly exporters. We offered medium- and long-term financing for export-oriented investments and made İGE-guaranteed loans, specifically developed for Türk Ticaret Bankası, available to exporters throughout the year. We were among the leading banks in extending CBRT rediscount loans and İGE-guaranteed loans. This robust guaranteed mechanism created a significant leverage effect by facilitating access to finance and further strengthening our position within the export ecosystem.

Customer-centric digital product diversity

We shape our digital product range in line with the priority needs of our exporters and commercial customers.

Our total loan volume surged by 652% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching TL 58.5 billion. Through CBRT rediscount loans and guaranteed loans provided in collaboration with İhracatı Geliştirme A.Ş. (İGE), we took tangible steps to reduce barriers to exporters’ access to finance.

Reflecting the trust our customers place in our 112-year legacy, our deposit volume increased ninefold year-to-date, reaching TL 35.6 billion. This robust funding structure enabled us to optimize our costs and offer more competitive terms to our customers. By year-end, we achieved a net profit of TL 560 million, while the 7.4-fold increase in net interest income demonstrated that our growth performance is aligned with our sustainable profitability objectives. By means of capital increases aimed at strengthening our capital structure, we raised our paid-in capital to TL 9.2 billion, establishing a solid foundation for our future growth plans.

Building the banking of tomorrow today

In line with our “phygital” banking strategy, we not only digitalized our customer channels but also transformed our internal ways of working, enhancing operational efficiency. By implementing the Centralized Demand Management System, we improved the effective use of resources and strengthened central coordination in internal and external audit processes. To support our corporate architecture, we launched our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, enabling the end-to-end integrated management of budgeting, procurement, inventory and fixed assets, pre-accounting, and payment processes and thus boosting process standardization and financial transparency. Through our document management automation and data warehouse infrastructure, we embedded a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization.

In the field of information security, we established a mature and holistic security architecture aligned with the Bank’s strategy and updated our processes in accordance with global standards and regulations.

We position our human capital as a core pillar of our strategic growth and we close 2025 with a dedicated team of 401* employees. While supporting capability development by way of our digital HR transformation projects and continuous learning platforms, we prioritize employee satisfaction with fair compensation and comprehensive benefits. Through this integrated people and technology-focused approach, we continue to strengthen an agile and learning organization. We firmly believe that our skilled, experienced teams play a decisive role in our Bank’s long-term value creation journey.

Our vision for the future: 2026 and beyond

In 2026, the second century of our Republic, we continue to work with great enthusiasm, guided by our vision of becoming the leading bank for exporters. In the period ahead, in line with our customer-centric approach, we will further enhance our fast, high-quality service model with simplified processes and a digital, omnichannel service structure.

Through the green financing products we will develop in the field of sustainability, we aim to become one of the strongest supporters of our exporters in their green transformation journey. As global uncertainties ease and macroeconomic stability strengthens, Türk Ticaret Bankası will sustain its growth momentum, driven by the strength of production, investment, and exports.

On this successful journey, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all our employees, to our customers who trust us, to our main shareholder İhracatı Geliştirme A.Ş., and to our Board of Directors for their continued support.

Sincerely,

İlker Yeşil
