Highlights of 2025

Strong Growth and Strategic Deepening

For Türk Ticaret Bankası, 2025 was a year of transition from the establishment phase to a period of strong growth and deepening. Combining its deep-rooted 112-year heritage with a modern banking vision, the Bank took strategic steps toward its goal of becoming the Leading Bank for Exporters and solidified its position in the sector.

Strategic Positioning and Branch Expansion

In 2025, Türk Ticaret Bankası based its physical growth strategy on centers with high export volumes. By establishing a presence in locations where over 85% of Türkiye’s exports originate, the Bank increased its number of branches to 11. This strategic expansion enabled direct contact with exporters, accelerated financing processes, and enhanced the capacity to provide on-site solutions. Customer engagement has been taken to the highest level through events such as the Export Academy and Industry Meetings.

Inclusive Financing and Product Diversity

To facilitate exporters’ access to financing, an inclusive service model with credit and non-credit products was implemented. Key financing products offered in 2025 included export financing loans, rediscount loans from the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), TL and foreign-currency working capital and investment loans, Eximbank loans, and letters of guarantee. Additionally, all of the customers’ financial needs were met with deposits and other basic banking products.

Strong Collaboration: İGE Integration

The strategic collaboration with the Bank’s main shareholder, İhracatı Geliştirme A.Ş. (İGE), evolved into a concrete integration in 2025. The integration of the İGE guarantee system was completed, and special guarantee programs for Türk Ticaret Bankası were launched. This addressed exporters’ collateral constraints and served as a significant lever to enhance their access to financing.

Digital Transformation and “Phygital” Banking

In line with its “lean, agile, and digital” banking vision, the Digital Banking Platform was launched for customers in February 2025. Retail banking and corporate banking internet and mobile banking channels were activated; remote customer acquisition, identity verification, and digital contract processes were initiated. The range of digital services was expanded with payment system integrations such as FAST and KOLAS.

Corporate Governance and Infrastructure Investments

Significant investments were made in information technology and operations to achieve operational excellence. The Central Request Management System has been implemented, and coordination has been established for internal and external audit processes. With the installation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, finance, human resources management, and procurement processes were integrated, enhancing budget discipline and financial transparency.

Future Outlook

In 2025, Türk Ticaret Bankası turned its mission to strengthen exports into tangible achievements. The Bank looks to 2026 with confidence, backed by its strong capital structure, expanding service network, and digital capabilities, and is advancing steadily on its path to becoming the strategic solution partner and main bank for exporters.
