Engin Topaloğlu holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, as well as a PhD in Finance and Banking from Kadir Has University. Between 1993 and 1995, he worked as a Research Assistant at Bilkent University. He began his career in the finance sector as a member of the Inspection Board at İşbank.

At İşbank, Mr. Topaloğlu held managerial roles in the Budget and Planning, Corporate Architecture, and Retail Banking Marketing departments. He also served as Branch Manager at the bank’s Gebze and London branches. In 2021, Mr. Topaloğlu was appointed Assistant General Manager in charge of Internal Systems and later Finance Functions at Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası. In 2023, he served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at TSKB Gayrimenkul Değerleme. Mr. Topaloğlu holds several prestigious certifications, including CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CISA (Certified Information System Auditor), and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).

He joined Türk Ticaret Bankası in March 2024 as Executive Vice President, Financial Management and Procurement.
