Curriculum Vitae of Our Board Member Mr. Dr. Ömer Kalav

Born in 1969, Dr. Ömer Kalav graduated from the Department of Economics at Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He completed his doctorate at the Department of Business Administration, Institute of Social Sciences, Okan University in 2014. He began his banking career at Şekerbank T.A.Ş. in 1991, and after working in various departments at several banks, he served as Deputy General Manager and General Manager at Birleşik Fon Bankası, operating under the TMSF (Saving Deposit Insurance Fund), in 2004.Kalav served as General Manager of Türk Ticaret Bankası from March 2022 to December 2023. He currently teaches banking and finance courses at universities and also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at a company engaged in international payment system integration and financial technology investments.
