Türkiye’s first private bank with national capital, Türk Ticaret Bankası, continues to expand its services in its new journey, launched with the goal of becoming the primary bank for exporters. Having opened a branch in Denizli, one of Türkiye’s key production and export hubs, the Bank will provide TRY 75 billion in financing support to 1,000 companies by the end of the year.
Restarting its operations with the objective of becoming the main bank for exporters, Türk Ticaret Bankası opened its Denizli Branch at the Denizli Exporters Association (DENİB) Service Building. The openingceremony was attended by Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and ViceChairman of the Board of Directors of Türk Ticaret Bankası; İlker Yeşil, Member of the Board of Directorsand General Manager of Türk Ticaret Bankası; Hüseyin Memişoğlu, Chairman of the Denizli Exporters’Association; and numerous exporters operating in the region. With these new branch openings, TürkTicaret Bankası aims to bring its financial solutions that support the export economy to every corner ofthe country.
Mustafa Gültepe: “Türk Ticaret Bankası will serve our country’s export-oriented development vision”
In his speech at the opening, Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of TİM and Vice Chairman of the Board ofDirectors of Türk Ticaret Bankası, emphasized that production and exports play a locomotive role in thenational economy. Highlighting their vision and goal of positioning Türkiye among the top 10 exportingcountries, Gültepe stated: "To achieve this goal, we must make new, high-tech investments, modernizeour existing facilities in line with current conditions, and turn the twin transformation—digital and green—into an opportunity for our country. For all these efforts, access to affordable, long-term financing is morecritical than ever for our exporters. In response to this need, Türk Ticaret Bankası, which we haveintegrated into our export family through İGE A.Ş., will provide direct, fast, and favorable financing to ourexporters while supporting our production capacity and export-oriented development vision. Speaking at the ceremony, İlker Yeşil, Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of TürkTicaret Bankası, highlighted the importance of Denizli in Türkiye’s exports. Noting that Türk Ticaret Bankasıoperates not just as a financing provider but as a business partner for exporters on their growth journey,Yeşil added: "We provide exporters with both traditional, physical banking and digital banking services. Byimplementing this “Phygital” banking model, we plan to cover 85 percent of the country’s export footprintwith the 15 branches we will open by the end of 2025. By year-end, we also aim to increase the number ofexporters receiving financing support to 1,000 and the total financing provided to TRY 75 billion.
