Türk Ticaret Bankası will Provide Exporters with 100 Billion TL in Financial Support this year

Continuing its operations with the goal of becoming the main bank for exporters, Türk Ticaret Bankası is expanding its service area. Aiming to provide 100 billion TL in financial support to exporters this year, Türk Ticaret Bankası will serve exporters in the Eastern Black Sea region with its newly opened Trabzon Branch.

Türk Ticaret Bankası, which has resumed its activities with the goal of playing an active role in Türkiye's export-oriented growth, opened its Trabzon Branch in the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry building. The opening ceremony was attended by Trabzon Governor Tahir Şahin, Trabzon Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç, Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Kaya, Şalpazarı Mayor Refik Kurukız, Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) President and Turkish Commercial Bank Deputy Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, Turkish Commercial Bank Board Member and General Manager İlker Yeşil, Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Erkut Çelebi, Trabzon Commodity Exchange Board Chairman Eyyüp Ergan, and Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Union (DKİB) Deputy Chairman Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan, as well as numerous exporters operating in the region.

Mustafa Gültepe: “Türk Ticaret Bankası serves our export-oriented development vision”

In his speech, TİM President and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Türk Ticaret Bankası Mustafa Gültepe emphasized that production and exports are of critical importance to the Turkish economy. Stating that they are working with the vision and goal of bringing Türkiye into the top 10 countries in terms of exports, Gültepe said: "In order to achieve this ambitious goal, we must invest more in high technology, R&D, and innovation, and turn the digital and green transformation into an opportunity for our country. Of course, access to affordable and long-term financing for our exporters is of great importance for all these efforts. Through İGE A.Ş., we have brought Türk Ticaret Bankası to our export family, which provides direct, fast, and affordable financing support to our companies, serving our production capacity and export-oriented development vision."

İlker Yeşil: “We will provide more financial support to exporters in 2026”

İlker Yeşil, Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Türk Ticaret Bankası, also stated in his speech that access to financing under favorable conditions has always been a priority for exporters. Recalling that they restructured Türk Ticaret Bankası with the goal of becoming the main bank for exporters, Yeşil said: "We are positioning our branches in the centers where production and exports are most concentrated. In 2025, we increased our number of branches to 11 and provided exporters with 76.3 billion TL in financial support. Thus, in 2025, we exceeded our target of 75 billion TL in lending volume. We aim to provide 100 billion TL in financial support to exporters in 2026. In this context, we will continue to offer our new branches in centers with high export activity to serve companies. We will increase our number of branches to 15 in the first quarter of 2026."

Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan: “Our bank will bring new opportunities to the Eastern Black Sea export ecosystem.”

Speaking at the opening, DKİB Vice President Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan stated that Trabzon is one of Türkiye's strategic centers for foreign trade with its port, logistics infrastructure, industrial zones, and diverse exporter profile. Gürdoğan said, "The Türk Ticaret Bankası's export-focused expertise and the start of its services in Trabzon will make a significant contribution to our regional companies' stronger and more secure presence in international markets. The bank's proximity to the field will enable needs to be met at the right time and with the right tools. I believe that the branch will bring speed, depth, and new opportunities to the production and export ecosystem of the Eastern Black Sea region; I hope this step will be beneficial for both our city and our country's exports."
