Now Open: Our Erzurum Branch

Türk Ticaret Bankası,which operates with the aim of becoming the primary bank forexporters, continues to expand its service network. Türk TicaretBankası, which aims to provide 110 billion TL in financial supportto exporters this year, will serve exporters in the region throughits newly opened Erzurum Branch.

Türk Ticaret Bankası,which has resumed its operations with the aim of playing an activerole in Türkiye’s export-led growth, has opened its ErzurumBranch. The opening ceremony was attended by; Erzurum Governor AydınBaruş, Erzurum Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, Türkiye Exporters’Assembly (TİM) President and Türk Ticaret Bankası Deputy Chairmanof the Board Mustafa Gültepe, Türk Ticaret Bankası Board Memberand General Manager İlker Yeşil, and Eastern Anatolia Exporters’Union (DAİB) President Ethem Tanrıver, as well as numerousexporters operating in the region.

Mustafa Gültepe: “TürkTicaret Bankası serves our export-focused development vision”

Inhis speech, TİM President and Deputy Chairman of the Board ofDirectors of Türk Ticaret Bankası, Mustafa Gültepe, emphasised theimportance of production and exports for the Turkish economy. Statingthat they are working towards the goal of bringing Türkiye into thetop 10 exporting nations, Gültepe said:

“Toachieve this ambitious goal, we must invest more in high technology,R&D and innovation, and turn the digital and green transitioninto an opportunity for our country. Access to affordable financingfor our exporters is of great importance for all these efforts.Through IGE A.Ş., the Türk Ticaret Bankası, which we have broughtinto our export family, serves our production capacity and ourexport-focused development vision by providing direct, swift andfavourable financing support to our companies. I believe our ErzurumBranch will undertake a vital role in meeting the financing needs ofover 2,300 exporters in the region.”

İlkerYeşil: “As Türk Ticaret Bankası, we are focusing on the export ecosystem”

İlkerYeşil, Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of TürkTicaret Bankası,stated that they plan to stand by exporters at every step, not merelyas a financial institution but as a strategic partner. Yeşil, whoannounced that the bank aims to increase its total financing supportfrom 76.3 billion TL in 2025 to 110 billion TL this year, continued:

“Weare focusing on the export ecosystem. We are working to ensureexporters are prepared not only for their current needs but also forthe challenges they may face in the future, and we are constantlyrefining our business models to capitalise on the opportunities theywill encounter in global competition. We support the public sector’songoing efforts to establish this ecosystem and aim to be a keyplayer in the financial sector within the resulting structure. Whilstoffering our exporters a full range of banking products—bothcredit-based and non-credit-based—and insurance services, we alsoprovide investment and asset management products, including deposits,to our corporate and individual customers who are not exporters.”

Ethem Tanrıver: “Ourexporters will now have direct access to finance”

DAİB President EthemTanrıver also stated that they are working with the aim ofmaximising the region’s export potential. Tanrıver continued:

“As we pursue thisgoal, we are delighted that Turkish Trade Bank, which we view as astrong partner, is opening a branch under the roof of our servicebuilding. Thanks to this significant step, our exporters will nowhave direct access to finance; they will be able to obtain thesolutions they need for their foreign trade processes without delay.I firmly believe that this collaboration, which brings our exportcommunity and the financial world together to work shoulder toshoulder, will boost our region’s competitive strength, and I wishit every success for all our members and our country.”
