Türk Ticaret Bankası Antalya Branch Opened for Business

Türk Ticaret Bankası, which has resumed operations with the goal of becoming the primary bank for exporters, has expanded its service area to include the Western Mediterranean. Opening a branch in Antalya, one of Türkiye's key production and export hubs, Türk Ticaret Bankası plans to increase its branch count to 15 by the first quarter of 2026.

The Antalya Branch of Türk Ticaret Bankası, which has resumed its activities with the goal of playing an active role in Türkiye's export-oriented growth, has opened its doors. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Mustafa Gültepe, Turkish Commercial Bank Board Member and General Manager İlker Yeşil, President of the Western Mediterranean Exporters Union (BAİB) Ümit Mirza Çavuşoğlu, and numerous exporters operating in the region

Volkan Ağar: “Türk Ticaret Bankası will contribute to exports achieving sustainable gains.”

Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar said in his speech at the opening ceremony that Antalya is one of the important cities in our country's foreign trade. Ağar said, “Türk Ticaret Bankası is an important tangible outcome of our efforts to create a strong financial infrastructure that will enable our exporters to enter global markets with greater confidence. We believe that the Türk Ticaret Bankası will contribute to the transformation of export potential in Antalya, one of the important cities in our country's foreign trade, and the region into permanent and sustainable gains.”

Mustafa Gültepe: “Türk Ticaret Bankası works as a solution partner for our exporters.”

İM President and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Türk Ticaret Bankası, Mustafa Gültepe, also emphasized in his speech that production and exports are critical for sustainable growth in the Turkish economy. Stating that they are working towards the goal of bringing Türkiye into the top 10 countries in terms of exports, Gültepe said: "In order to achieve this goal, we must invest more in high technology, R&D, and innovation, and turn the digital and green transformation into an opportunity for our country. For all these efforts, our exporters' access to affordable and long-term financing is more important than ever. In his speech, İlker Yeşil, Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Türk Ticaret Bankası, stated that access to financing on favorable terms has always been a priority for exporters. Recalling that they have restructured Türk Ticaret Bankası, with its 112-year history, with the goal of becoming the main bank for exporters, Yeşil said: "Türk Ticaret Bankası's launch with the vision of becoming the main bank for exporters is a strategic development in our country's export-oriented development journey. With this perspective, we are locating our branches in the centers with the highest export activity. Last week, we opened our Çukurova Branch, which will serve our exporters in Adana, Mersin, Hatay, and Osmaniye. Today, we are proud to offer our Antalya branch to our exporters. As planned, we provided 75 billion TL in financial support to our exporters this year. This support will continue to increase in 2026. We will also increase our number of branches to 15 in the first quarter of the year.“

Ümit Mirza Çavuşoğlu: “Our hand has been strengthened with Türk Ticaret Bankası”

Speaking at the opening, BAİB President Ümit Mirza Çavuşoğlu highlighted the importance of the Western Mediterranean in the country's exports and stated that exports from the region reached $2.6 billion in 2024. Noting that access to financing is of great importance in the development of exports, in addition to quality products and competitive prices, Çavuşoğlu said, "With the launch of Türk Ticaret Bankası, the exporter's bank, we have become even stronger; the instruments for exporters' access to financing have increased. Access to financing is of great importance for exporters. Access to low-cost financing products is even more important. We are fully confident that the Türk Ticaret Bankası will always stand by our exporters. Undoubtedly, the support that the Türk Ticaret Bankası will provide to our companies will translate into new investments; these investments will also return to our country as export revenue. On this occasion, I wish the Türk Ticaret Bankası Antalya Branch success in its endeavors and hope it will be beneficial to our sector, our region, and our country," he said.
