Time Deposit

You can invest your savings in Turkish Lira or foreign currency with the risk-free return you will receive according to your maturity preference.

Features of Your Time Deposit Account

  • You can open it in TL, USD and Euro currencies.
  • You can request an opening for up to 1 year, either in monthly maturities or in split maturities (as many days as you wish).
  • You can open your account for principal, principal and interest, or partially with or without auto-renewal. If your account opens;

    • with principal renewal it will be automatically reopened as much as your principal balance, with the same number of maturity days and the interest rate valid on the maturity date.

    with principal and interest renewal it will be automatically reopened for the same amount of your principal and interest balance, with the same number of maturity days and the interest rate valid on the maturity date.

    with partially renewal it is automatically reopened for the balance you want to continue with the same maturity date and interest rate valid on the maturity date; The remaining amount is transferred to your current deposit account.

    without auto-renewal the principal and interest balance is transferred to your current deposit account at the end of the maturity.

  • In term accounts opened with automatic renewal at the end of maturity, if the new maturity date falls on a weekend or holiday, the new maturity is determined as the first business day following the weekend or holiday.
  • At the beginning of maturity, the interest rate to be applied to your principal is annual, simple and gross.
  • At the end of the maturity, the current withholding tax rate is applied to your interest earnings according to the maturity of your account, so you will receive net interest income at the end of the maturity..
  • You will benefit from tax (withholding) advantage in the long term for your TL-denominated time deposit account.
  • Time deposit account can be opened for all real and legal persons in our bank.
  • You can open your time deposit account using our digital channels or by contacting either our branches or customer contact center.
  • Partial withdrawals cannot be made before maturity, and if you close your account before maturity, no interest will accrue on your account.
  • If you want to close your time deposit account, you can contact our branches or close it via our Internet / Mobile channels.
  • A time deposit account book is a document that legally proves the existence of your time deposit account at our Bank, and you can get your account book from our branches whenever you want.
  • • In domestic branches, deposits and participation funds in TL, foreign currency and precious metals, other than those belonging to official institutions, credit institutions and financial institutions, are covered by insurance up to 1 Million 200 Thousand TL for each person in each credit institution.Click for detailed information.
